Freeview? DVB-T

Postby KWAK » Wed Jun 16, 2010 10:04 pm

Hey all,

KWAK being blonde again, need some help. In my puta I have a AVerMEDIA H751 ANALOG/DVB-T card. I got a DVB-T aerial from trademe for $8, so thought I might aswell see what I can get. Anyone know of any free programs to use? I pick up 4 crap channels using Media Center.

Any info would be great.

Cheers LADS!

if you have any experience with linux then id suggest giving mythtv a go. one of my mates uses it and its great the only trouble is you either need linux installed or have it as a whole operating system. Heres the link if you want a look at it: http://www.mythtv.org/ or there is a pre built distro with it based on ubuntu at http://www.mythbuntu.org/

i only get 4 poos ones with my tuner as well...maybe if we find out the manual frequencies to tune in we could do it manually.

have a search on geekzone.co.nz as well.

http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?fo ... icid=20700 this! is your card DVB-T compatible? this comes through UHF aye, ive only tried our standard VHF aerial plug.
