Dude, I think we need to go slowly in practice... otherwise I think we're going to end up with big fat ass heavy cars to drive in the races...

On another note, I had a crack around with AI, and me with 50kg's (or even more so with 100kg's) the start is significantly impacted... it's like the lighter cars have KERS !

hehe yea I think im just going to work out starting weights for each driver from results of last 4 series and for new-comers just give them the average points for each series.

Can we add Helium or something for 4aged's car, to give him some kind of decent advantage... ???,

just to take in to account that we can virtually guaratee that he will make some kind of dumb ass mistake... you know, something like rolling it on the last lap, or not put enough fuel in ! :D :D :D

Out of curiosity... is this event going to be partaking in the new no reset , or reset penalty rules ?

count me in
got my monster tempoary running over the weekend
sooooo much different with a bigger steering wheel
still getting used to it and i would say will be off pace even when i do get used to it
due to extra time it takes to change gears now
legs get real tired doing all the heavy brake and clutch work
series looks like lots of fun...c ya 2nite

oh sweet man, yea i like racing with shifter and manual clutch i did for a while but i dont anymore as paddles changes are quicker and more reliable, I wish you could specify you must use manual clutch and shifter (where available) in LFS.

Yea big wheel would be a bit different, Is your clutch as firm as a real one would be? must have a heavy duty pressure plate hehe. shit it would be pro if you could make a variable firmess pedal and then feed it a clutch firmess value from LFS and then with each car the pedals could change their firmess! brake pedals could change feel as they wear! ***ah so many posibilties*** ... anyway

i think im going to try tonight with full shifter / clutch combo ,feels more real but i miss gears and changes are slow. need practice i guess.

Wel that was a fun practice looks like Sly has the pace

i think Krayy as the reset penalty thing working so reset will be on, and midrace will be off.

These are the starting weights for round 1, ive got my results spreadsheet all sorted too.
these have been created based on the last 4 series points, then x by 1.7 to get weights appropriate for starting weights for this series. Newcomers like were given that series average for series they didnt race in. Weights can be distributed as you like
54kg Sly_Guy
48kg 4aged
34kg Krayy
32kg Kronik
26kg KWAK
24kg Thornz
22kg MIK641
19kg Steela
15kg KumuraKid
5kg Dr Felix
Kiwi - will calculate starting weight tonight
foto_choppa - will calculate starting weight tonight

At the end of each round the top 4 will get weight and bottom 4 remove weight. So for example with 9 finishers:
P1 +18kg
P2 +15Kg
P3 +10kg
P4 +7kg
P5 N/C
P6 -7kg
P7 -10kg
P8 -15kg
P9 -18kg

What sorta times is sly running?
Also, with the weight, are we allowed to distribute it as we want?

I can just about run a low 51 with no weight on..... but having the fat chick sitting at the side of me is making quite an impact... it's the corners !

Quick update on status of Lapper....

New version of lapper is in and handicapping system is working. Also have car resets working correctly where it will give Drive Throughs until last lap, then a 30 sec penalty.

New lapper commands are:

!hc = displays handicaps for users, OR allows admins to set handicaps (left click +/-1, right click +/-5)
!who = display list of connected users and some useful stats about them
