Pretty good first trial run of the handicapping system I thought.
Is it me, or do these cars have magnets in them to attract other racers? Sorry to anyone that I t-boned or had coming togethers with.
I think I need some peril-sensitive sunglasses so I at least have the luxury of not seeing the inevitable crash coming up

hehe krayy, yea i was really pleased with how it went and the lapper stuff worked all good! the only small issue i had with it was I had to keep stopping and updating !hc it as people joined during qual, maybe in future it could read weights from a txt file or database somthing.
Re: [LFSNZ]TARGA TOWN **round 1 results + round 2 weights**
Was a good fun race, think I was lucky in the fact that I was carrying much less weight than sly/4aged, if we had been even, I doubt I would have been able to catch/pass them.
Had a blonde moment and forgot all about racing that, then suddenly remembered so jumped on adn was lucky to catch teh start of race 2.

haha crickey man! how could you forget! will be sending a reminder email before the race next week, and I think we will be passwording the server, TBA on that one. but yea you had really good pace, i was fast at times but little mistakes that ruin your tyres even more then you have to back off the let them recover.
Re: [LFSNZ]TARGA TOWN **round 1 results + round 2 weights**
I just had an idea on what we were talking about regarding who was allowed to join the race.
I could create an admin tool that would allow you to put a check next to each racer that is allowed to race, and an exclusion mark to non-allowed. That way, you could create a racer list based on a subscription thread so there is no mistake as to whether a racer should be there or not. Thoughts?
P.S Database based hadnicaps are almost done, so they will be available to click a "Load" button to set them en masse. Should save you some time.

That was an awesome event... Really enjoyed it..
The handicapping is working really well, and making for closer racing (a bit too close in Thorns' case...)
Had some good close racing with 4aged, and Thorns, but just couldn't keep thorns behind me... the weight seems to really impact the tyre wear. (oh, and the braking the top speed etc etc.. )..
Looking forward to the next race... maybe not so much the weight penalty !!!

yea it was good fun aye, wish i could have held on to you towards the end abit more when your tyres started going off that was my plan but never worked out lol.
krayy - sounds good about setting weights en mass from DB, when we set them does everyone have to be in the server or does it apply as they join automaticly? how will we update weight data into database?
Tick box idea sounds good as well, can you put it next to drivers names in the !hc admin menu?
