thorns wrote:Slow and steady could be the way to go. Only poroblem I find is that this track just nivites you to really attack it, with the fast flowing corners, and chicanes which if you get right you can really fly through them, get them that little bit wrong though and.............

Yep.. 1mm of something other than the road and your spun out... lol

yeah. ive pretty much got this track nailed i think, just that nasty nasty hairpin which is so hard to get right. i think that and a few tweaks to the setup and i should be set.

so how will we know who wins? in 24hr racing i think they do it on the number of laps you do

Once the 1hr is up thats the last lap.

you talking about the first hairpin? kinda hard yea, take a wide exit line right out on the ripple strip and its abit easier. narrow exit = spin

That middle chicane is so awsome, you can really push through there and make up some time but so risky / no margin for error. will see how confident I am on the hotlap, ive done it without lifting once but was pretty hairy.

oh yea hotlap driving is quite different to race driving on this track ive noticed, hot lap will be fun as you can really attack the corners.

also reminder this is an endurance round so points are about double. Will post up enduro points.

hmmm someones screwed up .. i saw(monday night) i was to have 70kg, thorns 75, steala 65. please please make sure everything is correct! what happened to the lfs lapper controlling this :S

on the note of reset penalties, yes i think we should have it but instead of a drive through penalty, we should minus points from the score board, but only like 2 points per reset because i didnt even use 1 reset during the race last night.

apart from that it was a long race except i put waaaay to much fuel in which resulted in being way off pace lol

hmm ive lost the list i had last week sorry but pretty sure these were the weights posted last week (last week colum)

The replay file said you had 0kg for the race, will just go confirm this. not sure what happened to lapper setting weights, krayy had that working. will see if he can get it to go for next week.

good ideas about reset but i cant find a way of finding a tally of number of resets I tired to find them that last race just for lol's.

Yeah, I was a witness of Mik's weight. I was the one who told him his weight was 70kg and also mentioned thorns was at 75. Mine was 60...

Just reviewed replay and yes my weight was 0kg, i did not know this. (fail on lapper weight, i thought it was running)

my qual set had the weight but my race set did not.

my race setup was

Car dry weight=600kg
Car with me in it=670kg
Car wet weight=763kg

fuel weight = 93kg.. and in pits i put 25% in which bought it back up

evidential in the number of people who passed me in the first few laps

hmm still didnt have to 60kg, everyone else started with a wet car (depending on strategy) 15 points its pretty minor considering the ammount of points you scored.
