Cant even boot it up in safe mode now, so am thinking it some sort of hardware failure rather than software. Thats the third toy i've bought this year that has shat itself lol, first it was the MR2, then our racehorse, and now the bloody computer!
Oh man that sucks! doesnt sound good, hard drive maybe? try going into your BIOS and run a disk check? usualy push del of F8 as soon as you turn it on, there should be some option in there to run a disk check?

P.S your in CHCH aye? if ya need me to have a look give us holla?

Edit: Split topic as it is of a different topic. Moved to technical help.

Cheers, will keep that in mind. Am just waiting to hear back from playtech to see whether I need to send it back or what they suggest. Am reluctant at the moment to go playing with thing as its under warranty, and dont want to void that. Will try the run a desk check at lunch time though and see what happens.

Have set the disc scan going. Am thinking its quite possibly the PSU, as I managed to get it into windows a few times at luch time, but then it would just all of a sudden just shut down and reboot. Just looked like a power cut, and then also had a BSOD that said something like "unfixable (some word along those lines) hardware error"

Can still get into the BIOS. When I managed to get into windows at lunch time, I ran real temp, and all four cores were running at around 40 degrees, which Im pretty sure is quite standard, nothing seemed excessive.
